Right now I have more fun in maintaining a blog in the Dutch language at http://fotobram.d-dig.com/. So, I guess, this message marks the end of this English language blog. Although the content of this blog will still be accessible via the URL http://fotobram.eu/wordpress/ , just entering the domain name ‘fotobram.eu‘ will soon redirect to Fotobram Dig it ! at http://fotobram.d-dig.com/. I do not know how definitive this will be, but do not expect any new content here in the near future. It has been fun.

I recently joined D-dig. A Dutch photo forum. It is still a relatively small forum, but the atmosphere seems very friendly and the technical expertise looks great.
I also installed a blog called Fotobram Dig it ! via their services. This Wordpress MU blog will be in the Dutch language as much as possible. The blog is running under a more recent version of Wordpress then this blog does. I like the new possibilities very much. It looks like I need to update Wordpress for this blog as well. Take a look if you like.

My choice for ‘always carry with you camera’ is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3.

At least once a year I pay a visit to the Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam. Always carrying some photo equipment of course. This time I tested my new D300 with 70-200 VR lens. Most of my shots at f2.8 in order to see what it can do at that lens opening. I was not really disappointed, but the main trouble that I met was the handling of this rather heavy device.
